Highlight of the day for me was at the Hungary/Romania border, got asked for the bike docs by a Romanian border guard, I gave him an A4 receipt from the hotel in Brno (Written in English) he had a good look and than passed it back with a cheery "Thanks"

... This is a little confusing because I haven’t seen anything on my map about a bus station there, but maps can be wrong. There’s apparently a walking bridge that crosses the tracks right by where the first bus station was that I can take that will get me there.

I went to the last of the three main squares and this one is NOT under construction. They have a very unique looking orthodox church there at one end and the Opera house at the other.
