Today was our last full day in Assisi. We have just loved being here, so neither of us has relished the thought of leaving, but as we have discussed recently the dangers of turning things into idols, the last thing we want to do is to idolise Assisi or St Francis. Visit to San Damiano
We woke this morning to a cloudless blue sky over Assisi. Our breakfasts here at Hotel Ideale continue to amaze us. A huge range of fruit and cereal and freshly made cappucino.
