... into the life of the nuns at the time when it was built very enlightening but not a nice way to live for a young girl. No running, smiling or looking at the male priests as punishments were severe.
We then went to a local restaurant for lunch and ate guinea pig being a local delicacy. Not bad tasted a bit gamey once you got over the fact that it was cooked intact yuk.

We're sitting at the top of a double decker bus so it's difficult to hear the guide with the street noise, wind and rumbling of the motor. 1) the laundry, cleverly designed to allow flowing water to be directed into any of the basins

It was lovely to walk through the small streets of the monastery – 6 in all. The walls were either painted in a Moroccan blue or dark terracotta and named after Spanish towns.
