Our final day of riding dawned favorably: clear, lovely temperature, and a flat and relatively short ride of 47k. Because of the short ride, we spent an hour or so exploring Treviso's old town before heading out the city gates along the bike trail that hugs the Fiume Sile - the Sile River - for dozens of kilometers. For the first 10k or so, we rode at a leisurely pace among the many Trevisian strollers and bikers - ...

We were a bit over shopping now, and it was halfway through the tour and we were both starting to get a bit budget conscious, we still ahd about 2 and a half hours to wait before our Gondola tour! So we got some Gelato (yes, more gelato) and sat down by a wharf in the sun, it was so hot! I was regretting wearing a beanie, I really wanted to buy myself a big floppy hat to wear on ...

... have to return to one day. Our boat was the home to 32 people, all Aussies excepted for three crazy kiwis! Hope everyone is well at home and that my room hasn't turned into a home gym yet! ...

We weren't happy. I mentioned that we never got an email or phone call from either of them telling us that it was the wrong price and this isn't our fault. After 5 minutes discussing it Niomi and I thought we would just bite the bullet and pay the 'real' price.

... for a while. It would make
for a glare filled day. We headed for San Marco and navigated through
narrow streets and many a bridge. Our booking for the basilica
allowed us to priority entrance. The line we were in was for reserved
tickets - and so many people were kicked out of the line because they
didn't realize they needed a ticket for that line. Der can you not read?
Was good for us though!! The line halved! We got inside and
    gawked at the marvelous ...
