... won the raffel of a little bottle of Bailies, even if I only came fourth in the quiz on wines.

But we had no time to linger, we still wanted to fit in Veralinium, the Roman ruins in St Albans. Off we go to the bloody great big park in the middle of town, with a biulding in the middle that protects the mosaic and a few other items from the area that have been dug up.

... Full of art antiquities from centuries ago and all parts of the world! It was fabulous. We could have spent a day there! The exhibition was fabulous and I am so lucky to have seen Henry Moore's work, who inspired me during my high school years and beyond when studying art. Everything is sorted now, just the last of my clothes to go into storage and thats ...

In the end we had dinner at a pub 5 minutes from our Hotel. Could someone in London please start up a Grill'd franchise for moments when all you want is a quick burger for dinner on the way home.
Finally made it home around 9.30pm, almost saw the sun go down and as usual fell in to bed exhausted from another day of walking and ...

... late afternoon we biked a few blocks into the town of Woodstock and followed a recommended walking tour of the pretty medieval and renaissance era inns, churches and residences. Given the mood of the day we just had to stay in town for an ale and pub meal… fish and chips for Pat and Venison hot pie for Bill.

Before returning to the campsite we rode about 2 kms to the village of Bladen and ist churchyard where Winston is buried with ...
