      ... trip on Friday. Tonight the students signed up for which walking tours they wanted to take during their free time. The sign up was a bit crazy at first, but we quickly developed a system of check in first, then sign up, and it worked out fine.

      So now I am off to bed. A lot of students are catching summer colds, and one of the ADs has it too, so I'm hoping lots of sleep will help prevent my catching it too. Don't want to be sick for London! ...

      ... ve always thought the application was to Oxford in general, and then they allocate you to a college that majors in your chosen degree, but not so.

      Fact 2: Oxford's original village-folks disliked the college community so much that students were murdered on the streets - hence the term "town vs gown", and the reason why most/all the colleges are gated communities with imposing doorways. This also lead to the birth of Cambridge, ...
