On our ferry trip from Rhodes to Crete a man fell from another boat, into the sea. It was 10.30 at night and our ferry was the closest, so we had to turn our Ferry around and help him. We got a phonecall in our cabin asking Dad to move his car which was parked downstairs because it was blocking the emergency door. The boat guys had to throw ropes to the man, and then a helicopter came and picked him up. Mum and I were a little bit scared, and glad when it was all over.

Yianni sold it to another man at some point and the other man was now ka-put (as he put it) but Yianni was still alive. Attached are pictures, but who knows. The outside doesn't really look like other pictures I've ...

Tour of Crete in the morning. Visited the ruins of a palace, very crowded, hot and uncomfortable. 36c with no air conditioning on a packed bus. Very pleased to be back in town, having pizza and beer for lunch. Off to Rhodes tomorrow, hopefully a little ...
