Today began a new adventure for me....I left Pensacola this morning and am currently at the Atlanta airport waiting for my flight to Washington DC. From DC I'll go to London, then after a 13 hr layover I'll head to Johannesburg and finally I take a small flight to Gaborone, my final destination. ... dishes. We enjoyed one of there more popular drinks the Lady Lawrence (definitely skip the ginger next time), along with steamed mussels and mixed olives. After a delightful meal we said goodnight to Alyssa and headed off to the SkyView Wheel in downtown Atlanta. Definitely worth the wait, we enjoyed a slow romantic ride around the wheel with stunning views of the Atlanta skyline. Couldn't have been a better ...
... a coup had been planned for when we arrived in Atlanta. Instead of having lunch and heading on yet another bus tour of a city, learning about lots of people that I will never remember, a rebel force (essentially everyone without grey hair) decided that we would break away and go and do our own thing.

So we left the moulldy oldies at the CNN building and started ...
... and jalepenos with a dip and then ribs coated in some brand of ale sauce with fries. My arm was twisted afterwards to get a hot fudge sundae from McDonald's.
Drove to Atlanta today. That's all I have to say about that!
Off out to eat again soon. I love eating :)

... hosted the Olympics. I have now been to 5 Olympic Parks and this was probably the least impressive. I've been to Munich, Sydney, Atlanta, Beijing and also Seoul. There is also a part of Atlanta where Martin Luther King was born and has a monument and his church is next to it. He died in another part of USA during a speech and not here. I only saw this from a car passing by it. ...
