... away from the gas station when I ran out. I was going to push it but it was 28 degrees. I once ran out of gas on Guelph Line and had to walk 6 km one way to the gas station. Not 1 person stopped or even slowed down to ask of I needed help. Even when I walked back with the gas can. very nice people in Lloydminister. We pull up to a stop light and there was a guy on a little honda motorcycle. he takes off from the light and i see 2 ...

... Kathleen stand near the vehicle that takes you out on the Glacier. An older version is nearby to compare old to new. Most of the buses are Prevosts and Jayne and Bob would like these.

The next stop is up hill and a stop/pullover held some fantastic views. We near Jasper and we head into town for a stop. Coffee, ice cream is in order and a walk to see the train station and then we head on to the Hinton KOA. More thoughts later. Long day on the road ...

... of snow capped mountains with huge glaciers in between. We got several photos of glaciers. We stopped at the Columbia Icefield Centre where they take trips out on the glacier in a huge bus. We have already been out on a glacier in one of our previous trips so we chose to save the time and just photograph them from the Center. We did get a shot of the bus that they take, however.

We went on to Jasper and discovered a darling ...

Some of us slept very well in the communal cabin, while a few others slept not as well -- apologies again to Alyssa and Laura, for not sharing my comforter earlier in the cold night. So, we were all up early. David got up extra early and went for a hike near the cabins. He was soon back to grab his camera, and Katie joined him. They'd come across several moose down in the river, and a herd of elk right on the property.
