      ... out, people are lining the streets, even lining up for ice creams. Actually, this is not so weird because Americans seem to enjoy lining up. If one person stands still for long enough, you can bet that other people will start standing behind them! We are underwhelmed with the rampant consumerism here and stay only long enough to await the return ferry. Whilst waiting, we get talking to a couple and their little son from Paris.

      ... we missed yesterday. We chat on the way about our nerves from the night before. Maybe it's because we are somewhere new or we can't get used to homeless people being everywhere.
