4 stars is generous but it is based on location, rooms and food.
Don't bother to read the Cresta Creeds displayed prominently in the lobby because 80% of the staff haven't read them either.
And 80% of the people in the lobby are trying to get onto the much touted free wifi - there's none to be had between 07:30 and 19:00.
This could be a five star with very small changes by management

We had a BBQ last night and all the food was prepared for us by the kitchen staff and we cooked it at our lodge. It truly has been a one of the best stays and the best bit is it only cost us £55 for the night. The owner even let us use his private pool. It is ...
... almost dead straight for 60+km at which point we arrived and checked into the Lokhothula Lodge, self catering cottage with two bedrooms, a loft and two bathrooms, a very well equipped kitchen and lovely sitting area with open air (screened) to a veranda with outdoor dining table. All was very clean and most important of all, we each had or own bed! After settling in and having a quick bite if lunch, we set off to see the famous Victoria Falls, one of ...
