4 stars is generous but it is based on location, rooms and food.

Don't bother to read the Cresta Creeds displayed prominently in the lobby because 80% of the staff haven't read them either.

And 80% of the people in the lobby are trying to get onto the much touted free wifi - there's none to be had between 07:30 and 19:00.

This could be a five star with very small changes by management

... so much fun to watch and photograph. We could have stayed for hours, but unfortunately, Killer had to have us out of the park 15 minutes after sunset. We did pause long enough to get out of the Unimog along the cliffs and get a few sunset shots. Then off to the gate. Killer slowed only a couple minutes for us shoot some vultures perched high in the trees with the beautiful pink sky behind them. It was quite dark by the time we squeezed out the park gates.

... the best shot (not counting the fantastic shot Guts took with his Canon 1D and 70-200 f2.8L lens. I did learn from Guts that his great "baboon silhouetted by the setting sun" shot was the result of using partial metering and overlapping about half of the metered area with the sun and the other half on top of the creature. He had a great shot; Larry's were mediocre and no one else had the angle to even try it.

... was great. We had a full staff singing and dancing welcome. Greeted by warm hand towels and cool drinks. This set the standard for the whole place. Beautiful rooms with outdoor showers and massive bath. We need to be escorted to and from our rooms during darkness in case we run into wildlife!! Had quick lunch and then off on a river based safari for afternoon/evening on Chobe river. We saw crocodile, elephants, ...
