The CA 1 has to be one of the great drives of the world on a par with similar ones in Australia, Canada and Scandinavia. It took us to the Mendocino Coast and the town of Fort Bragg (not to be confused with its perhaps more famous, maybe infamous, namesake in North Carolina, home to many US Army Special Ops outfits).
