Happy Thanksgiving
Got up today and helped cook Thanksgiving dinner. Started with pecan and pumpkin pies. Uncle Tom always tries a new stuffing recipe. This year was chorizo and cornbread. Next was fresh cranberry sauce with toasted pecans and orange juice. As soon as the pies came out of the oven the turkey went in. Woke up to Rain
Woke up this morning to rain in Canyonville. Was nice to just curl up and listen to the rain! Spent part of the morning going over the recipes for Thanksgiving dinner - pecan pie, fresh cranberry sauce with pecans and ginger. Gonna be yummy! Cousin Carrie got the rest of the week off so drove down this morning from Portland. Now the whole family is together for Thanksgiving! Got hamburgers from Ken's for lunch. A rainy day
... But I hope those which I have will be okay for you guys.
By the way, the two guys I'm traveling with and a car is never a good idea. They're like to drive really fast and to close! And I miss some girl time between all the testosterone. But otherwise is it fun to travel with them!

California's Redwood Forests
... country as many times as he did with his 9 kids...it wasn't always smooth sailing or glorious conditions, but ue had his family (and toolbox) by his side and I think he was a better person for the experiences he had. And oh the memories!! I have my own, but I continue hearing more about the ones I wasn't around yet to experience! Thank you Grampa for giving me the desire for the open road. I look forward to passing down the legacy!!

Redwood National Park - World's tallest trees
