We will post trip information here as soon as it starts. For 2010, we will continue planning the project and look for Sponsors that are willing to invest and support the Project. All indications in that regard is ...
Medford, Oregon, United States pamericasToday was all about seeing Seattle. We drove to the Seattle Public Library. This is an 11 story glass structure by dutch architect Rem Koolhaas. It is considered in some lists one of the 10 buildings to see in the world. It did not disappoint. The children's section was amazing. I hope Mia and Caroline will see it one ...
Viel Spass.
Williams, Oregon, United States andre583This was an unexpected highlight brought to me by Tamami, who found it on the web. An entire hotel and resort entirely in the trees. Well, sort of. Most of the rooms are up in the trees, some as much as 40 feet, and some even have water and bathroom facilities. The whole place has been around for over 20 years and they have been adding on rooms and things to do ever ...
Cave Junction, Oregon, United States brandonibologna... there were about 25 people (only about half of which were also at Sami's on Saturday.

We also went to gatherings at a few other friends' homes, like Janine and Larry's and Stephanie and Lyle's and a couple of Pampered Chef parties, too. Stephanie has mules and donkeys, including one of the biggest donkeys I've ever seen (close to 5' at the shoulders).

I only got to go horseback riding once, but it turned out to be a rather interesting ride. There ...
Rogue River, Oregon, United States chictravelers2... expensive and pushed on. Probably not the smartest move - were quite stressed we would be empty in the middle of nowhere...but we found another one in the nick of time just outside of Forks. Forks was so small and full of Twilight signs and adverts - quite funny really. So from there it took us another 2hrs to get out of the park and then we pushed on through to ...
Medford, Oregon, United States sharynr... 50 BZ. The locals eat there. Bring your bug spray and make sure it's strong. Hopkins Village is a very mellow laid back village that is not over run with tourists. We only spent a day there, but we had a killer breakfast at Innies. The best beans on the whole trip. The locals are very friendly. Wish I had more time there. San Ignacio is bustling town with great deals on accommodations. It didn't seem as cheerful of a place as the coastal areas. This was the ...
Rogue River, Oregon, United States themeierls... Raggamuffin' Tours. 3 days 2 nights with snorkeling, fishing and camping out on a couple cayes along the way. Sounds just terrible but I think we can tough it out. Once in Placencia we will be staying at Harry's Cozy Cabanas for 6 nights. After that we haven't planned anything really. We are planning on seeing some Mayan Ruins but not sure which ones. Car rentals are way to spendy so we probably will take the bus alot. My (Jill's) dad left today for Hopkins Village, so ...
Rogue River, Oregon, United States themeierls... part was to see new scenery (which was mostly tricky thanks to the rain), and the other part was to pick up the 5, which would get us back faster and be safer in the case that we came back after dark. We really only stopped a couple of times once we got on the road. The Smith River parks were gorgeous as well, but other than a very, very quick stop for pictures a couple of places, we stayed driving until ...
Grants Pass, Oregon, United States darkskye... South America and hope to return again soon. We would love to go with some of our family or friends so that they could meet some of the friends we have made. We are so thankful for God's protection and direction throughout our trip. He taught us so much and made the last 6 months a life changing experience. Posted on 04/08/08 1:36 AM EST [ Comments (0) ] [ Post a comment ]
