... a great store and a great tour of their factory...making chocolates, caramel corn, cookies, pears and putting it all into gift baskets. 1600 employees..up to 8000 at Christmas time.

Then we hit a few places recommended by my high school friend, Pegi. First to Si Casa Flores for some great Mexican food...got a doggie bag filled with more than we ate ...

... re checking out every hidy hole there is). We're also checking out the spots we want to visit here: Harry & David factory tour, tour of the School for Deaf Dogs (not the dogs, lol, but dogs for deaf people) and the Vortex (like the Mystery Spot in Santa Cruz) and lots more that the staff has told us about. The big day will be taking the 90 minute tour of the underground caves. Updates, photots and videos of the first day of the rest of my life to follow.

... Gordon had no cause to mock; he had an entire ciabatta loaf made into bruschetta to get through. (He did, of course. He then helped with my log-jam.)
Today we went to a National Park that is home to America's deepest lake, Crater Lake. It was formed when one of the mountains collapsed in on itself after a particularly violent eruption, forming a crator which over time was filled with the precipitation from snowfalls. It is not fed by rivers or any means ...

... high on nature or high on life, but it sure was a fun time. When we approached the tree, Greer jumped out…yes jumped, and ran to the other side to
get pictures. We folded in the mirrors and proceeded through. I made a video of the adventure (notice you haven’t seen any of these videos…they are classified…too revealing of how I can really be when I let it all loose J) I was a bit caught up in the whole thing, Dad had to scold me like a kid ...
