... It was cold, but it didn't feel too bad.... At least that's what I thought then. I put my bathing suit on when we got to the boat. I walked over to the edge and peered in. I was going to jump. I didn't have to work up the courage or anything to do it because Mirza came up from behind me and pushed me in. The water was so cold, it was the kind of cold where you just can't catch your breath. I bee-lined straight back to the boat and climbed aboard. But that ...

Thank goodness I sleep like a rock. Mirza's snores has no chance of keeping me up; I passed out right after my last entry. I woke up in the morning and headed to the shower room. I don't know what I was expecting from this shower. I guess I was expecting a steady stream of cold water. I got the complete opposite. We stopped in to see if they had food and the bartender (Nick) said we could buy a frozen pizza or eat some of his blueberries. There was no other food to be eaten there. We ordered a drink and just chilled. There was a big dog hanging out, keeping warm by the fire. I went over and sat on a "couch" that was clearly made from a van seat (it literally was just a seat from a van). ...

... turns not excluding this trip prior to today. We always seem to enjoy the trip anyway. I think we just love to see different country side. 99.9% of the time I’m driving, which I love to do, and today was no different. Suzy and I researched our next destination and we were off and on the road. Not long after we were on the road Suzy turns to me and says that she didn’t think that our trip today was going ...

... stop on the way to Duluth, Minnesota from the Twin Cities: Wisconsin. Clearly I've never been that interested in a direct route. But when I received an invite from my friend Becky to her family's cabin, I didn't have to think twice. Armed with directions that took me deeper and deeper into the forest, I recall finally understanding all this "Northwoods" talk. So many trees. On the way, I pulled into a gas station that was overrun with ...
