We arrived at our hotel on Frenchman street which has live jazz music and dancing, along with places to eat and drink. In the morning we went on a self guided tour of some famous Interview with the Vampire film sights as we are both huge fans. In New Orleans some of the houses and their balconies are stunning! ... ran into despair. The original staircase was destroyed when the house was abandoned and cattle got into the house to seek shelter. This was the same for the flooring which was originally all italian marble that the Ramon's shipped over when they built the house. ... met one of the legends of the festival and Stephen shot him for Metro.. old af american dude wearing a synthetic cream coloured suit.. very old school and cool!! We went on the swamp tour yesterday.. boys freaked at first but then grins…. gators/wildlife and water!! Very cool!

... To find musicians at the end and middle of every block is mind blowing. First an amazing claranetist playing to recorded jazz backing.
