    ... The Birds; the schoolhouse, backdrop for my favorite scene, still stands. That scene (where Tippi relaxes on the school playground after a bird attack) can be viewed here, with the next scene highlighting the schoolhouse.     ... lighthouse was built on an isthmus and is only accessible during low tide. During high tide, the lighthouse becomes inaccessible. It then becomes the most photographed scene along the America's Wild River Coast.

    The marina in this town is very interesting. EVERY boat is launched out by pulley's each night to avoid damage from the strong tides.
