... of luck with her job, and we departed. As described by the other person coming from the school, there was a tunnel leading to the beach. Before the tunnel was a sign, saying 'Crystal Cove' - 'Crescent Bay' didn't look as the white haired bus man described because it wasn't actually the right place. The bus driver took us to the wrong place. Oh well. We were there now. We walked out onto the beach and found a little spot a few yards from the tunnel. The beach was nice and ...

... Next was "Space Mountain", easily the most extreme ride in the entire park. I had been on "Space Mountain" at Tokyo Disneyland and I remember it being really awesome so I was especially keen for this one. Because it was still early, there was no real line, so we waited only about 5-10 minutes - A definite luxury! Boy, was I not prepared for this roller coaster. It was indoor in the dark, made to look like you're flying through space, just like the Tokyo one, but this one felt about ...

... It was pretty amazing and showcased all the big Disney movies using massive water fountains as the backdrop and screen.

Yesterday we did the Disneyland Resort on another hot day. We got there early and managed to do a few rides with no line up. We did the Indiana Jones ride and that was scary and fun, especially for the kids. Splash Mountain was great, the final plunge down had everyone screaming. Some rides like the Haunted ...

... side of a hill, a steep curve around a corner at Doc Hudson's racetrack, careening up and down hills, screaming and hair flying! It's not quite a draw, but close enough as makes no enemies and as we pull into the station, the life-size animated figures of Lightning McQueen and Mater crack a few jokes and the 3 minute ride is over. We really enjoyed this one and if the line wasn't so huge, we would've gone on it several more times!

... to rough sketches, onto clean up and then ink and paint. The tour also took us into the Disney Archives where we held one of the Disney Oscars :). To finish the tour we walked along the walk of Legends and of course the outside of Walt's Office.

So far on this trip I have held an Emmy, A Legends Award and an Oscar! Unbelievable :)

Back on the bus for about an hour ride to Anaheim. Upon arriving at our next hotel Grand ...
