      ... and sandy, we decided to take a rest from the water and walk around downtown Laguna Beach. At the public showers, we washed off as much of the sand as we could (not much)-- and, incredibly enough, Jim found a twenty dollar bill on the ground! We just kept getting lucky this weekend. We got some caramel apples with our winnings, walked around, and saw the old timeshare that Jim and Sherri used to use.

      ... this morning was in the park at the Plaza Inn where we were greeted by some of the characters. I saw Tigger, Chip n Dale, Minnie, Penguin from Mary Poppins, and Pooh. I took pictures with most of them. I learned today that one way to tell Chip from Dale is that Chip has a black nose like a chocolate chip and Dale has a redder nose. I was excited because at breakfast they had waffles.

      ... after leaving Yosemite just before 11) and pretty much went straight to Downtown Disney, as we’d planned to do that all along. We didn’t spend long there, caught some views of the fireworks (probably over the main park, but we weren’t sure.), and we did a little shopping in Downtown Disney before heading back.

      ... but our main purpose for this visit was to be in the park for our 1.20pm reservation at the Blue Bayou restaurant, so we didn't expect to do many, if any, rides. However, whether it was the intervention of the Baby Jebus, or dumb luck, we struck gold.
