Union Island, Mayreau and the Tobago Cays are three of the dozen+ islands that make up St. Vincent & The Grenadines. They're also some of the most special. We spent 3 days in Union Island, 6 days in Mayreau and 3 days in the Tobago Cays. The water in these areas is so clear it's easy to see over 50 ft deep.

... Turtles are the biggest I've ever seen. Just beyond the reef and Petit Tabac is Worlds End Reef. What a great name. To be continued..... Our first snorkel reckie and what a show. A 4 ft Turtle with 2 lampray hitchhikers sat on his back on the seabed next to our anchor. It was not phased one iota and sat unperturbed when we swam down to get a closer look. What a beauty! ... Ady and Scott also belonged to The Moorings yacht club who have 90 people on this weeks cruise. Apparently one of their club went on a cruise with the sister ship the Star Flyer in the Mediterranean a couple of years ago that they enjoyed so much they organised this trip for the club. ... in the water, I see three huge turtles eating on the bottom of the sea. The visibility is not very good though. After resting for a bit at the buoys, we go back on board to change the strategy.
