Unfortunately pi pass a kimono sale. And part with the hotel fee for tomorrow night. This one is stunning. He knocks 2000 yen off for no apparent reason. Who am I to argue with that? There are so many sites to see in Kyoto. It's not possible to see them all and you always wonder what you missed out on. The lesson was mainly in Japanese, but with body language to aid and a few English words as well. It was beginner-level so I already knew most of it but I really enjoyed it. After school we went into town to eat dinner. I ordered okonomiyaki for the first time in Japan. It is a kind ...

We began the day with yet another food fest in our ryokan, then headed out to Kyoto Station to find our bike tour. We found the post office, where we were supposed to meet up, quickly enough, as well as 2 Canadians and 2 Indonesians waiting for the same tour. Unfortunately, it took our guide and the 2 New Zealanders nearly 20 minutes to realize we were waiting in a different location (they were actually given different instructions!) After that, though, we quickly ...
