... During our 2 night stay we took a big paddle boat out onto Lake Tahoe. The lake is the 2nd biggest alpine lake in the world and gave great views of the surrounding snowy mountains.



We also took a gondola up to the top of the main mountain to the big ski resort to see the great views over the lake.

... are staying at this resort near the lake in south lake Tahoe in a dwelling that has 5 bedrooms, 2 stories and a Jacuzzi tub. the only problem is none of those bedrooms is mine and everyone is really loud and drunk and I don't feel like partying. I stayed in the hot tub for 2 hours and then took a Jacuzzi tub bubble bath for too long and now I have a terrible headache

It has two parts - Stateline (Nevada so casinos!) and South Lake Tahoe City (California so the casinos stop right on the border). We drove today from Reno to Lake Tahoe - completely gutted as when we got there everything was closed - really bad timing end of summer and not yet ready for winter so a ghost town but the views of the lake were amazing - pictures don't do it justice. ...
