At the heart of the museum is a pantheon type building with a huge dome covered in 26 pounds of gold leaf, and housed underneath the dome is a huge marble coffin holding the remains of Napoleon.     We took a couple of Metro lines to get to a giant train station at the edge of downtown. Between the trains and the Metro, millions of people move about the city and region everyday.     ... I walked straight into the place, which was lovely and warm compared to outside. I went up the escalators in the tubes on the outside of the building to the top floor and took a photo of the expensive museum cafe with its aluminium cocoons and pink chairs.
