I was the first to get up & really enjoyed some quiet time with a cup of coffee while Jeff & Amelia slept in. We have been on the go since arriving & I desperately needed some "me" time to get organized. The last several days before departing Provence were very full including a journey to the medieval city of Carcassone in Languedoc. The ramparts, walls and striking towers were worth the 3 hr trip. ... the Tuileries gardens, very beautiful. The salad was good the coffee too strong and the crepe delicious. The sun then came out for the rest of the afternoon. Absolutely glorious.
