... and it doesn't actually take long to get through the city - it is very densely populated because of the apartments. We had another late tea, and then after Abi had gone to bed the rest of us watched the Da Vinci code - this unfortunately decided to die nearly 3/4 of the way through - always a pain when you don't get to see what happens, part of this film is filmed in the Louvre, which was funny after having been there that day ...

... ground floor. The upper floor was designed to represent going up to heaven and was almost floor to ceiling stained glass windows that surrounded all of the walls. Impossible to describe in words, but definitely worth a visit. The girls & I got a seat facing the windows with the sun coming through and just sat for a while ooohing and aaahhhing over it.

We headed back to the apartment for a brief rest and then decided for our last night in Paris to eat at one ...

... was late, so we decided to walk home, because it wasn't very far. On our way home, we passed the The American Church of Paris which was really cool to see and it was neat to see the same city we saw from The Eiffel Tower all lit up at night! As we were walking, we also passed a giant group of rollerbladers skating through Paris streets! That was awesome! I really enjoyed my visit to The Louvre!

We did not get to see the Musee d'Orsay because the Monet paintings and ...
