So today we headed off to Cambridge for the day. It was a little cooler today than other days so we had the top down on the mini for warmth. The boys were squashed in the back and about half way there we had to swap drivers as Jo was feeling a migraine coming on. So there was I hooning along the motorway in a very sweet little ride. ... the hotel, so we left around 9:20 a.m. We walked through Hyde Park on the way. The park is large and very pretty, with many trees, flowers and gardens, a cool green paradise in the midst of the busy city. As we walked, we saw people riding horses, cycling, walking and jogging. By the time we arrived at Harrods it was nearly time for the store to open, so we had to wait only a few minutes before going inside.
