... before all this got done so fingers crossed they were all okay. We drove to Tekapo, went and relaxed in the hot springs for a while, almost got blown away by sudden gale winds on the beach and then drove up to Mount John summit to get some great views over the mountains and surrounding areas. After, we drove towards mount cook, passing lake Punaki. Both lake Tekapo and Punaki are an extremely bright light blue colour which looks amazing and one you ...

We have arrived in Queenstown after first going to Manapouri where we did not stop, it was very cold and windy so continued to Queenstown. After looking at several hostels we ended up at Alpine Lodge. We virtually have our own apartment, apart from the main house. There are two rooms with a single French girl in ...

Once we were done we gave our email addresses so they would send us a copy when it was created and dropped us back at the hostel. We quickly cooked up some dinner between ten of us then headed to a retro cinema to watch The Martian. It was pretty funky with mini convertibles to sit in and sofas and even had an interval where you ...

... It's a two story unit with a kitchen and lounge area downstairs and three bedrooms and two bathrooms upstairs. There was a gas fire downstairs and the bathrooms all had heated floors and towel racks, very fancy indeed! After taking some time to unpack and settle in we headed back to town to explore a bit a collect some groceries. Finding a park was a bit of a hassle but eventually we managed and then had a wander around town. The town was easy enough to ...

... stuff. I spotted a FroYo place which we couldn't resist. At about 4pm, we headed back to the hostel and found Rach in the communal lounge. We tried to catch up on our diaries, aka the banes of our lives, and waited to hear from Tor. A guy in the lounge announced that his bungy had been cancelled. Rach texted Tor immediately and found that she was in fact still waiting to do her bungy due to the wind. The plan was to go to 'Ferburger' which apparently sells ...
