So we made it to Sydney and after a very very long day or 2 of travel we was pretty knackered. We was staying with friends Katie and joe and after meeting up with Katie in the city to pick up the keys to their place we went back and slept for most of the day. Katie and Joes place was in Rose Bay which is a well off area of Sydney, with quiet little rose bay beach a few minutes away and a 25 minute walk ...

... Ocean view then caught a bus to Vaucluse house which is one of Australia's most important historic houses now belonging to the Sydney Harbour Trust. It was blissfully lacking in crowds & was a very interesting house with a pleasant garden and lovely tearoom. We walked back along the coast road past streets and streets of extremely luxurious houses, some of which had gardens ...

Wow what a night! We spent our New Years Eve on a big boat moving around the harbour. We had a meal and a dance and made lots of new friends. The fireworks were the most amazing thing we have ever seen and we loved every minute of it. Tracy made friends with a Chinese lady who had never danced or drank wine before and by the end of the evening was totally sloshed and dancing to every song! We are off to lunch now so have a fantastic Hogmanay and we wish you all a wonderful ...
