All the entertainment around the game was hilarious. One man went through the public all the time and all sorts of weird commercial stuff happened, both during the big breaks between the periods and the moments when the game was stopped for a moment. Seemed like a long time since I first bought this ticket - to now actually setting out - on this first bit ( into Toronto for a few days). So I'll pull the master switch / hydro off ... This is going to be a really great canoe trip and adventure...

I am in Kingston now exploring this old historic town/city - it used to be a British Garrison
and was the capital of Upper Canada briefly - I am putting in time until they load
the Logistical Support Team's cargo Van at 6:00pm
Am staying at Rick Hatton and Anne Coward's place in the country tonite as their guests

The "Clerk of the Works" assigned to Col. By was John MacTaggart who did much of the early groundwork for the canal planning. MacTaggart came up with a couple of off the wall ideas, including building a wooden aqueduct to cross Dows Great Swamp.
