I wanted to try a lobster roll while I was there. A lobster roll is lump lobster mixed with mayo and some other seasonings in a hot dog bun. We had ours at the Lobster Shack. Today we were in Bar Harbor on Mount Desert Island in Maine. Had nice weather today. Unbelievable place. We think its the best island in the world! It has everything, beautiful scenery, mountains, lakes, forests, cycle trails and good summers. In the winter it drops to -30C and they have skiing, cross-country skiing (using the cycle trails!)... and massive lobster trade! Lovely island.
