We stay the night in Tenby, a beautiful walled town on the south coast. What a lovely place. Because of the wall, the buildings inside are very close together with narrow streets and multi-colored buildings. Lots of bright pubs mixed with shops and homes; this is jewel compared to the many drab brown and grey towns and villages throughout the UK.

We spent two nights in Putney Bridge at the Premier Inn. There is a lovely rose garden and walled garden at Fulham Palace, across the road on the other side of the river from the hotel. The Thames looks great with old buildings fronting the river. We saw people rowing and lots of boats. Great view from room 610. Visited the bank and got a UK SIM card for my phone. Bought toiletries from Boots and had cod and chips ...

Today we drove from the Cotswolds into Wales and immediately we saw differences. From England to Wales we went from stone houses to brick houses, rolling hills to low mountains, fields to forests, rain to sun (ok that one may be a little unfair).
