Reflection

A travel blog entry by philji on Dec 22, 2014

Well just under a week to go and time for a little reflection. What makes this place special? It is crowded, noisy and full of scenes of great suffering at times.... but it is also full of a sense of community, people coming together and laughing and crying together, it is full of a sense of freedom where people can come and practice a spiritual path and ...

Arriving in London was both amazing and terrifying (at the border). Brilliant me, I left all my documents for my Student Visa in my carry on....yeah, so I showed up at the border with no documents. Thankfully, I'm teeechnically not staying in the UK for longer than 9 days before going to Germany - this was ...

... the hotel to grab some well earned sleep.

On Saturday Sharena and I explored more of central Swansea. After a nice morning stroll around Swansea's recently restored harbor neighborhood we grabbed a coffee at Swansea's tallest rooftop restaurant which boasted a stunning view of lush green welsh hills, beaches and of course the mighty sea. The beach was calling to us, so we took a stroll along it and dipped our toes in the frosty waters.
