    ... conical-roof houses are all over this region, but this is the one most oriented to tourists with lots of gift shops. They even charge to go up to their roof top to have a view. So are free, but you walk through the gift shop. Good marketing strategy!

    We would have liked to stay longer but we planned to visit a cave-dwelling village about an hour away ( for us it will take longer!)

    ... to see the shoreline of Italy in view! About another hour in the ferry and we made our way downstairs and after a long wait, were finally allowed to get into the car and then disembark. Welcome to Italy!

    Today dad and I played trivia .One question was "What was the signature food of split?" I said banana split but my dad did not believe me but I was right. Lunch time was fantastic! There was chocolate fountains, fairy floss, ice cream, chocolate strawberries, cakes and ice sculptures. Relaxed at pool for the rest of the day and then had dinner. Then went to Fun ...
