Up to Portugal's top spot - El Torre
... to really reach Covilha's centre steeply uphills. A passerby recommends us Hotel Solneve and we would not be deceived.
We plan to take a taxi the next day to bring us up to the top of Torre (return trip 20 EUR) for a hike. It is cool up there and we enjoy the distant view as much as the relaxation for our butts.
