Another easy day of driving - about two and one half hours. Some great things to see here in Hyannis. Within walking distance from our hotel we found the "John F. Kennedy Museum". What a great place to learn more about one of our great presidents and his family. It was very fun to learn about his first sailboat, Victura. His father gave it to him for his 15th birthday. ... we landed on the island. We walked around Oak Bluffs. There was a nice open park and then we walked through the well known gingerbread cottages. These cottages are very small and quaint and the land lease needs to be renewed each year so owners have to make sure they maintain the cottages in proper condition or they lose the land lease.
