Today we went to the Statue of Liberty. I went on my first subway in USA. We took many photos, because of its importance. We took a ferry over to Liberty Island and Ellis Island. The big day, a certain calmness descended over the city. The crowds were smaller, the hustle and bustle was less but it was still New York. A quick visit to the tree and ice rink at the Rockefella centre, no I did not join in.
Breakfast at the famous Ellen Stardust dinner on Broadway. The all American diner with singing waiters. A bit of fun to start the day.
