    ... cafe serving the free breakfast only to be told that we need to get a voucher from reception at the hotel which doesn't open until eight by which time we need to have left to return the hire car. So we end up paying for breakfast twice, like we've paid to have my bike fixed twice, like we paid for options on the hire car twice, like we paid for 'free' parking in Santa Barbara because we weren't telepathically aware that we needed to get the ticket stamped.     ... when she was having her star placed was pretty historic!

    After the Sally Field excitement, we went for a table service lunch in the Hard Rock Cafe, which was lovely. Great service, me and Rich had some fruity 'mocktails', Lucy and I had Mac and Cheese with chicken, and Rich had fajitas with beef, chicken and shrimps which he loved. Very nice meal.
