Yay the sun is out!! Finally we have clear skies and no rain. As much as I love the rain, after having it for about 4 days now it was nice to have a break. We took advantage of it and explored the surrounds. First we popped into our local town of Castelnau de Mondrian which is perched on a hill with tight windy single lanes between high walled buildings. The museum built on what we have been learning over the past few days and provided an excellent opportunity for Kate and Roy to actually read first hand accounts of the actions of the Resistance fighters such as smuggling allied soldiers over the Pyrenees Mountains into Spain, and has left us all wanting to learn more.

After a few hours in the car we made it to Toulouse and met our wonderful host Juan who gave us an excellent overview of the city and where to go and how to get there (gee AirBnB.com is great - an AMAZING resource). We took a late night train into the city and had a true French dinner (bouchon style - basically all meat) at Restaurant L'Entrecote.
