    ... bar at home (with no one knowing) or for dinner. In fact, candlelit dinners and movies away from "home" onboard are almost un-gettable luxuries. That's why time together is pretty much spent in respective cabins -- or in front of co-workers.

    And as a result there's generally no shortage of commentary -- pro or con -- from fellow crewmembers who get to watch your relationship play out.

    ... Trivia but left because it was dry and empty; so much for being something like the Rotten Tomatoes panel.

    Now that the day had ended we headed outside to meet up with Evelyn and Yvonne, which was pure chaos. We eventually found each other and then hoped the trolley to the car. After confusion, indecisiveness and Jesse being a diva, we finally settled on Lolitas and I ate my weight in carne asada fries. Perfect end to the day.

    ... the slowest ^^ they even have a special lane reserved for car pools (more than 2 people in the car) and those willing to pay extra. For a couple of miles there was even a bypass 4 lane freeway, parallel to the normal one, which can be used for an extra fee of 6$...

    I didn't see the killer orcas fighting each other at Seaworld and no one died. At least the rollercoaster was exiting.

    Before I forget: aircraft carriers are indeed huge..;)

    ... Carrier ship. The ship is just gigantic. With tunnels and tunnels inside and all the fighter jets and helicopters on the top deck there was so much to see we couldn't see all of it.

    At midday we went to a meeting point and got picked up by a bus as we had organised a day trip to go and see Tijuana in Mexico. There was only another 10 people on the bus. A few years ago there used to be hundreds of tour busses that would take ...

    ... sea lanes of metallic mines, Air cushioned landing craft, USS Bob Hope which is a huge storage ship that has everything imaginable, Littoral Combat Ships and many other smaller types of ships. It is believed that some 40,000 service personal are required to man them. All these ships are available for immediate service and the days of mothballed ships in San Diego have well passed.
