    ... as I would balance myself. The crowd enjoyed seeing all "wobble" up to the front.

    Then the ceremony. It was all so joyous and good-natured....

    As the sun was finally set the Scarlet Bell continued to cruise the harbor. We all went in for a delicious dinner. Great toasts were given. Even my wife Bev braved to say some nice things about Larry. His sons Scott and Ted gave great tributes to their dad and to their new family. ...

    ... drive we arrive at the Santa Maria Pines RV Park. This park and Mission Farm in San Juan Bautista could be owned and operated by the same folks. Nothing fancy, the only RV park in town and not cheap. It is our one and only choice to stay in Santa Maria. The plus side is that across the street is a very nice regional park in which to exercise the furry ones.

    Unfortunately we were not able to visit with all of our loved ones. Sometimes things just don't work ...

    ... the RV & car in tow and headed to Van Nuys. We left the RV at the generator repair shop. Dori & Nubi took us out to lunch at The Sixth. We got back to the RV around 4 PM. Dex and the repairman worked on installing the the generator until after 8PM. We arrived back to the campground in Ventura around 9:45 PM, tired, hungry and our bank account much lighter. At least we can get back on the road again now!
