Hayley and I shopped again. It was inevitable, but now I must call it a day on the spending sprees! I have got some lovely new clothes; I do not need any more! Alex and Ruth opted to stay home rather than tag along on our mini marathon shopping spree, probably a wise choice since it lasted about seven hours in the end! We went to Target (made posher by pronouncing it with a French accent) and I picked up another skirt and a top. Hayley ...

      International Health Improvement Conference

... home too. The conference is absolutely huge so i decided it was wise on Sunday to start with an orientation session. I also learnt about IHI's founding, work so far and ambitious plans for the future. Had lunch with a nurse I met at orientation who's role is promoting breast feeding initiatives in the community. Very interesting to hear about her work. I spent the afternoon in an interactive Learning Lab about using shadowing to improve the patient experience. In the evening ...

I waited in that awful, tunnel-like, at times, claustrophobic line for single rider. The ride was exciting, but still preferred Forbidden Journey. Meanwhile, the rest of my brood ventured to other parts of the park. While I waited in that long line, they visited Simpson's world, watched a Shrek movie, checked out Fievel's playground, etc. They ...

... it was a seriously bad idea, but came anyway. The answer to how wet can you get, was totally soaked through to your undies, it was a huge laugh, but we were all completely soaked, and as the sun was nowhere to be seen at that point it was pretty chilly, so we joined the line and forked out $10 to go into the dryer where we all managed to dry out a bit, except Matt, who had born the brunt of the water and even his feet were soaked, so as we all laughed ...

... 8217;d gotten out, it was about 10pm and was starting to get dark. I was still a little shaky from the adrenaline, so we went and bought Cinnabons for a late dessert/supper (plus cinnabons are delicious!) and headed back to the hotel to sleep.

It hasn’t been as full-on a day as we’ve normally been having, but it was great nevertheless…and tomorrow we get to go back to Universal Studios and Harry Potter World….BUTTERBEER!
