Arrived in Boston on time at about 2.20 pm. The whole train trip was comfortable with a pleasant atmosphere not like the train from Newcastle to Sydney with a mixed bag of passengers some not that all well behaved. An early wakeup call today of 6:15 am, as we wanted to be on our way to the airport by 8 am. The hotel had arranged for a car service to take us to the airport. Our elderly driver was a former policeman from Sri Lanka who worked for the government investigating fraudulent pay offs. ... lot of the items I had already purchased for my Kenya trip. I guess if you travel enough, you just get a bunch of the stuff that you regularly need. My "overnight kit" now contains enough stuff that I can pretty much go anywhere on a moment's notice and pretty much have enough to survive.
