... like we would make it to the hotel by 6:00. However, 94 west was horrible. We hit multiple stretches of serious traffic - with no observable cause. I have no idea what the problem was. We would literally get through one patch, get back up to 70 mph, and then all of a sudden everyone was breaking again. It ended up adding an entire hour onto our drive. Then when we finally got to the Motel 6 we're staying at, ...

... a neat sight to see! I then joined Pamela to go to some fraternity parties while my mom relaxed and read a book. Overall,a pretty good day!

It was a great way to ...

However, apart from some rain, and the thick lake mist ...

Today first we drove around Middleton a bit, the little town (that's not so little any more) where I grew up. This is the house my dad designed and built where I lived until I was 9.

Then the apartment from 9 until high school.

The high school where I went - then there were 650 students, ...

    Heading home

... made it a long ride. We landed about 20 minutes early.

I realized on my flight that I had a different flight from Chicago to Madison. Instead of leaving at 5:50pm like I was supposed to, I had a flight that left at 9pm. I got through customs quickly and went to ask about my flight. I was given a ticket to get on a flight that left at 3:35pm. I had to run across the stinking airport only to find out that the plane was completely ...
