We even considered not taking a trip this year, but there's too much tradition at stake to do that. Our goal on this trip is to have as much fun as humanly possibe for as little cost as possible. Kind of like back ...

Cincinnati, Ohio, United States lacasarodante... off on trying to figure out the best way to get there. It looks like it's going to be Dublin. It's the best location for the money and the timing. We can leave Friday night, 3/26/09, and get there at 7:50 a.m. on the 27th and have two full days before we report to our cottages. That will give us time to kiss the Blarney Stone and shop for woolen sweaters! And, oh yeah, maybe send at least part of the group golfing while Cherie and I shop. Mike and Kevin, do ...
Milford, Ohio, United States ldunnreier... trip here. The Reem Al-Bawadi is a large restaurant on the north side of Amman. Our table was in the spacious courtyard of the restaurant, under a Bedouin-style tent. The low circular brass tables have a diameter of 5 feet or so, and there are fountains in the center of the courtyard. This is a popular restaurant with local families, but is known to guides and tour companies as well, so we could order in English with no problem. We had the house special of mezza and ...

The planners are fine but they don't seem to agree upon how to do things. Speaking of planners... they both are nice people but hard to satisfy. The harder of the two (named withheld to protect my ass at work) actually gave me a compliment before they headed out the door on Friday. They said I did a great job this week ...
