So I thought I would begin a blog... I'm not sure why, considering I'm not much of a writer or photographer but I thought it might be a way to let you all know what's going on in my life. I plan to create a hand-written travel journal, so this will probably just include pictures from my adventures and short blurbs although we'll have to see what happens :)

Sandburg was apparently oriented not to material possessions but entirely to intellectual pursuits, still displayed as his mess of books and periodicals around which the rest of his life was centered. Sandburg’s wife Lillian was world champion goat breeder and established a goat dairy on the farm, an operation that is still a working part of the site. Overall the Sandburg home was quite interesting and totally different from other home tours.

Greenville reminds me of NOVA in that it is a more developed area and a very similar culture. There is also some kick butt climbing and backpacking nearby which I will be experiencing here shortly.
Ryan and Jordan are now engaged and they are getting married in October! At a beautiful area in Lake Lure not too far from Greenville. I can't wait! I wish them a long and happy life together <3

We landed at CLT at 6:10, took another 30 minutes to get to our gate and deplane, waited forever for our luggage in baggage claim, caught shuttle and found our car in long term parking and were on the road to Greenville at 7:30.
