We went through the town of Rockingham and saw some beautiful old homes. Mona, the GPS, took us the long way and we got to see homes we would not have seen on the direct route. ... the overlook to see High Falls, I took Covered Bridge Trail up to the bridge over the waterfall and followed Buck Forest Road across. I followed the road for just under a mile to a bridge over Grassy Creek and then took Lake Imaging Road to Grassy Creek Falls Trail. Along the way, I saw some black-eyed susans blooming along the road. The trail ends at the top of the waterfall and the views aren’t ...

... we have with them. This trip was a sacrifice of time and resources, but in my opinion the investment had a better return than I ever expected. We have had two weeks to experience new things, have hours of genuine conversations, laugh, and enjoy each other. As we woke up the boys to go into the house Cameron thanked us for a great trip. To have a 13 year old thank you for a trip at 2am in a sleep walk shows it was good for them as well. Until the next adventure...The Phillips ...
