... us but this is no shanty and was not as intrusive as we feared. Jo'burg town centre is rather dull & devoid of sites (most things have moved to the suburbs) but we did the 'Top of Africa' - the viewpoint 50 floors up - this is rather run down with not very clean windows which rather spoils the views but did seem more typically African.
I have also discovered the 3 rotweillers are called George, W, & Bush - make of that what you will.

Sidd and I also discussed the meetings and events we have coming up during my time here - a pretty good schedule that reassures me I made the right choice in coming back early. ... is over here most of the natvies live in cram packed villages in small huts. While white people are living in paradise basicly they have large houses.
There economy is not too bad in the last couple years there economy has realy recovered, and is still recovering.
The whole country is about the size of the us state of texas. so it is fairly large for africa.
