    After getting home early hours of the morning it was a sleepy kind of morning. 3.30am I ended up crawling in so it was makeup off and bed!     ... has had two subsequent owners, and is now also a conference and event centre. The experience of visiting the Ranch was actually very enjoyable especially so as Sally, our excellent guide, educated and amused our small group with her insights and knowledge.     We started our day in Fort Worth at a nature reserve. We parked up at the visitors centre and started with a 1 mile walk. We immediately came across a couple of large spiders and heaps of different coloured dragonflies. Sam wasn't keen on the walk after seeing the spiders and knowing there might be snakes around.
