... of Switzerland....Swiss ice cream and coffee. To be served in an airplane, this strawberry ice cream is really, really good. After that its a Swiss chocolate..mmmm. As we near Zurich, we fly over the Alps. What an impressive mountain range with snow caps that look so high you could reach out of the plane and touch them.

Had a granola bar for lunch, saving the rupees for a modest repast in Delhi.

I have just spent the most amazing 8 days in the stunning country of Switzerland and absolutely loved every minute! I really got to experience the true Swiss culture as my entire time here I was fortunate enough to stay with friends of friends that all live in Switzerland and I also did not hear an Australian accent (apart for mine) for the whole time I was there :-) My first three nights I stayed with Monika and Beat who are close friends of one of Mum's works colleagues. They were born ...

... the weather was looking a little more friendly so we ventured down into town to have a look around. Matt had heard that Lucerne was a beautiful city which was why we decided to visit. Well I can confirm that it is indeed a beautiful city. Like a lot of Swiss cities there was a beautiful big blue lake surrounded by towering mountains at the heart of the city. But what set this city apart from the others were the beautiful old medieval wooden bridges. In particular ...
