... modernised , we take a stroll through the Old City. Can't believe our luck in the location of our new home, very central, so we are right amongst it immediately. Good choice Cathy! For those that have not been, San Sebastián is a seaside town on the Northern coast near France or in other words Basque Country - very precocial they are too! So much so that the city is also known by its Basque name as well - Donostia - San Sebastián . Many wars have been fought ...

... hill to see the main town square for a bit before heading on to our next destination. Overall Lausanne was a beautiful little town and if we hadn’t caught the weather just right I’m sure we would have loved it.

To make up for our somewhat disappointing scenery the day before, we opted to rebel against the GPS instructions and took the small shoreline road that traced along Lake Geneva as we made our way to Geneva itself. We stopped in a couple of ...

Another travel day...thru Germany to a cuckoo clock maker..no I didn't buy one, but people on the tour did. Arrived in Lucerne & went to a folklore party dinner with yodeling & alphorn blowing. Also, we had a cheese fondue with our dinner. Hotels are quite basic & old, beautifully situated on Lake ...
