      ... a bit disappointed we didn't get to go inside. But the weather was beautiful so we certainly couldn't fault everyone else for visiting on the same day, so we headed off back on the road for Switzerland.

      Our first stop was the sleepy little town of Appenzell. Recommended as a stop over by several of the guidebooks we were not disappointed one bit. The drive into town alone was enough to make it worth it, taking us through some of the cutest winding mountain ...
