... After taking a bathroom stop, I saw buttons by the toilette and a hose. I did not ask about the hose but I accidentally hit a button which played music. After getting stares when walking out, a woman who I remember walked off the plane with me chuckled and said she was wondering what the buttons did. It was late and the stores around me were closed. ... rush hour traffic. So we eschewed the RV park in favor of doing DC by night. All the monuments were flood lit and there was no traffic at all - hardly surprising at 2 am! The city looked gorgeous by night. And the madness continued because we didn't relish the idea of the Baltimore morning rush hour traffic either, so we drove on past that city, eventually stopping around 4 am to spend the night at a truck stop beside the ...

... is now 5:00 am in Tel Aviv ( they are seven hours ahead of us - we changed our clocks for daylight savings time before we left Philly.). Our breakfast was a plain egg omelet which I used to make a fratata with cream cheese, lox and onions. We also had rolls and butter, an Israeli salad of diced cucumber and tomato with honey lemon vinaigrette , a lemon mousse and more tea. Very yummy. We are due to land at 6:50 am in Tel Aviv on Monday, November 5, ...
