After 3 weeks and 2 days of cleaning, removing mildew & mold, Den painted the bottom and washed and waxed the hull, he sanded all teak boards in the cockpit and I varnished them with 9 coats. The dingy was washed and hung on the davits and we splashed on Tuesday, Nov. 27th and left Indiantown on Thursday, Nov 29th and are now at Loggerhead Marina where we'll stay until we leave for the Abacos after the 1st of the year. ... who sailed their boat here from Sweden across the Atlantic bound for who knows where. Our friend Dale, who we traveled with to the Abacos in 2011, just left here. He and his crew are headed back to the Abacos on Allegria, a beautiful boat he built. There are well over 60 boats in the work yard and everyone is hard at work on getting ready to launch.

Sunday we were on the road by 7 a.m. and arrived at Indiantown at 3 pm to open up the bug balm in the cabin so we could work on the boat tomorrow. We stayed the next 4 nights with Paul & Linda LeDoux in their condo in Palm City near Stuart (thanks again you two) while we cleaned Savage up so we could move aboard and live on her while getting her ready to launch. We decided that we would take it easy on Thursday, so we headed down the road to Palm Beach to relax in our lounge chairs on the sand. After our fun in the sun, we packed it up and drove down Worth Avenue, which is a beautiful street full of extremely expensive shops - the Rodeo Drive of South Florida.
