Exciting news! We have a house now! Which is a huge relief because we won't have to run around Anchorage trying to find a house once we get up there! El Paso, TX (overnight stay, then back on the road) Flagstaff, AZ (2 nights stay while at the national park) Grand Canyon National Park (1 day) Hoover Dam (short visit) Las Vegas, NV (2-3 days stay) Twin Falls, ID (overnight stay) Seattle, WA (2-3 days stay) Then on into Canada and finally into Anchorage! I haven't gotten to planning the last leg of our trip yet. The whole trip should take about 3 weeks. Maggie (my dog) will be ...

I woke up at 8 and found Bob asleep on the couch. So it was almost 10 by the time we departed Deland. We did not return to I-75 the way we went into Deland, so the ride was better. We didn't really stop like we normally do, so we made it to Grassy Pond about 2 pm. Grassy Pond is the ...

... in Florida, an area where the water remains 72 degrees year round, ideal for the West Indian Manatee. At times, these springs provide a warm body of water for over 50 manatees to float in. We arrived to the park after dark, and went about setting up for the night with another amazing reverse job by yours truly. The bugs were quite bad, which makes sense as we were in a very wet, very humid area ideal for them. ...
