My mom and I went to florida for a weekend to look at some colleges. I want to go to Florida to be close to Disney World. Maybe intern there. But I'm all about Californiaa. San Diego and freezing cold water :) even though im scared of sharks.
... miles, big difference from TX, but then FL is the home to a lot of older people, but also today there are a lot of Texans in FL. We must have seen more than a dozen Texas cars along I-10. Guess Disney World is going to be busy next week. We also saw a lot of bikers probably headed for Daytona Beach for Bike Week.

There are many exhibits throughout the building and many photos of past governors, state senators and representatives. Lots of Florida history.
Checked out of Harrah's and hit the road at 11a.m. It was covered in really thick fog. Drove through a historic district and checked out the old mansions. It was foggy and drizzling the entire way, through Biloxi, and Mobile. As soon as we entered Florida, sunshine, 78 degrees. We stopped for lunch at Sonny's Bar B Q in Pensacola. Pulled pork!
