      ... There are a lot of squirrels running around. We then headed to Grand Central Station which is amazing. There are lots of shops and it huge. We are going on a trip to Washington on Tuesday which leaves from outside this station so we wanted to check it out ahead of time as we are leaving at 7 am. We headed home via the market to pick up supplies.... A pretty exhausting ...

      ... br> I was surprised at how well I knew exactly where we were due to intense study of google maps over the last few months. We crossed the Harlem river on the RFK bridge and spun into 125th Street which we followed down to 8th avenue and to our Hotel.

      Aloft Harlem is one of a chain of boutique hotels opened around the world by Starwood owners of the four points and Sheraton hotels to name a few.

      ... just didn't quite get a lot of it.... I suppose that is the nature of art. I did love the Monet gallery and quite a bit of the Picasso stuff. There was lots of other famous pieces too by Warhol and Van Gogh.... We tossed up whether to do something else after the gallery or to come home... 6 secs outside convinced us to come home and do the washing! It reached a maximum of -1c ...

      ... and thousands of rolls and about every notion you could ever want. It was seriously cool. I brought a t-shirt which said "thank you Mood", Tim Gunn's words from the show.
