... no cross country road trip would be complete without seeing the "Gateway to the West"! I thought the staff were very helpful at check in and check out and when we needed directions. Most hotels have signs at the pool saying no toys - this one PROVIDED toys for the pool and they had a little kids play area near the breakfast room! Even if you don't drink beer, I recommend the Budweiser brewery tour. ...
Thanks to Claire and Virgin Australia, we had a very comfortable flight from Brisbane to Los Angeles in Business Class. The food, wines and service were great. Waiting around airports for flights and travelling economy to St Louis via Phoenix was not as pleasant as the first part of our trip.
