      ... which run parallel to Route 66. At one point we were at a crossroads and had to stop to let a train go by. We counted the main train engine part, followed by 110 trailers, most of which had 2 stacked containers. We had never seen such a long train.

      ... ended up buying an old ring for me and Clive, a companion for Diane! We the stumbled across a Route 66 shop / indoor archery place / taxidermy showroom place. Outside it had the worlds largest rocking chair. It was HUUUGE! We got talking to an old lesbian couple called Linda and Doreen (obviously they weren't wearing tshirts with "i'm a lesbian" on them, but it was pretty obvious.       In all seriousness, mom has been a saint. Trying to organize my dad and me is like trying to herd cats, only more difficult. She has had to listen to all the great places we've been, watched the receipts pile up, and get us out of multiple nefarious situations. (usually caused by our arch enemies, US)
