      ... The servers come around and scoop whatever they have right into the middle of the table and everyone digs in. After you pig out on that you get your meal. Many of the dishes are served in giant frying pans. What if you eat all of this and you are still hungry? Lambert's will not allow you to leave hungry.       ... which run parallel to Route 66. At one point we were at a crossroads and had to stop to let a train go by. We counted the main train engine part, followed by 110 trailers, most of which had 2 stacked containers. We had never seen such a long train.

      ... We decided to stop for some dinner at a Route 66 diner in a place called st. Roberts (MO). It was a fifties diner and the food was amazing. The portions were spectacular too! Along the way we kept seeing a chain of fuel stations called Kum & Go. I kept s******ing. We arrived at the hotel in Springfield quite late and were ready for bed.       In all seriousness, mom has been a saint. Trying to organize my dad and me is like trying to herd cats, only more difficult. She has had to listen to all the great places we've been, watched the receipts pile up, and get us out of multiple nefarious situations. (usually caused by our arch enemies, US)
