    Cold and wet!

    ... too. Lots of agricultural machinery places such as Case and John Deere, (surely some of you reading this are interested in this stuff!). The landscape reminded me of the Fens where I live but on a 50X scale.

    One of the big problems today though is that the roads have gone very straight again which is not that exciting if you are a biker, although there was a couple of tricky bends in the hotel car park at the end of the day!

    The drive from Denver is a long one about 9 hours. Matt drove about 8 hours.

    Before home we had to:

    1) Pick-up my car from long term parking

    2) Return our rental car

    3) Most importantly, pick Octavius up from the Pet Ranch!

    ... about 20 miles. It rained so hard that had to slow down to about 40 on the interstate in order to see the lane markers. Of course, the trucks still flew by at 70 or so. Don't know how they do it.
